FEI Eventing World Championships Pratoni 2022 - RESULTS
In equestrian sports Three Day Eventing is a competition in which there is a combined ranking of horse and rider combinations asked to compete in a dressage test, a cross country test and a show jumping test. The first test is dressage, in which a series of figures are ridden at all three paces in a rectangular dressage arena. The second test is the cross country, always looked forward to thanks to its spectacular characteristics and sporting importance. It is the toughest event in the entire programme involving a course over varied countryside with a series of natural jumps (lakes, banks, coffins, sunken roads, corners etc.) to be jumped with no problems and within a pre-established time. The third and last test is show jumping. The sum of negative points acquired during the three tests determines the final placings.
